Founded in 1984, GALFINBAND
was initially a part of the Research and Design Institute for Flat
Products and Metal Coatings in Galati. In 1991 GALFINBAND became an
independent joint-stock company.
Given the technical level of endowment, the highly-skilled personnel,
the financial position, and the managerial capability, GALFINBAND
can be considered among the medium size companies which, due to the
flexibility and efficiency of their decision-making factors, could
achieve outstanding results.
GALFINBAND, which is located nearby the
Integrated Iron and Steel Works Arcelor-Mittal Steel Galati,
turns to the best account the cold rolled steel strip produced by the
latter. GALFINBAND produces thin and narrow steel strips (coated or
not) of the best quality
In the past years, GALFINBAND has diversified its
activities in the area of automation and computer controlled
metallurgical technologies. As a result of the co-operation in this
area between GALFINBAND and the Ministry of the Research and
Technology in Romania, GALFINBAND is presently providing
technological installations, industrial automatic systems,
communication systems, competitive integrated systems for the control
of industrial processes.
